WCBF will NOT be holding a WCBF Summer Event Week in 2009.
The next WCBF Summer Week Event will be held in Tokyo in 2010, and will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of WCBF.
This summer (2009), WCBF is going to hold a pre-anniversary event of WCBF 2010 summer event in Tokyo, WCBF Friendship Event in Tokyo.
The goal of the World Children's Baseball Fair is to promote and develop baseball and develop friendship and trust between children throughout the world.We hope this Friendship Event will help to support the goal of baseball's return to the Olympics in 2016, and will also support for Tokyo's bid as a 2016 Olympic site.
This WCBF Friendship Event will feature the International Exchange Games. WCBF is inviting children's baseball teams from 5 continents (Canada, Taiwan, Australia,Germany and Cameroon) and local teams from Tokyo Japan will join them for this tournament.
