I also attended the WCBF in 1994 Miyazaki, Japan. Had a wonderful
time and still enjoy sharing the memories. Even though it's been
over 8 years I still keep in touch with a good friend I met from
Sweden at the WCBF. I'm sure everyone else enjoyed their experiences
as well, have fun future participants! Share your experience with
all, it is a tremendous opportunity.

I was very lucky to have been chosen to chaperon 5 children from
my home town and more particularly from my Willits Police Activities
League to Gifu City, Japan in 1995 for the World Childrens Baseball
Fair. What a thrill for all of us. It was an experience that few
people in my city will ever have in a lifetime. We met so many
wonderful people from all over the world. The people of Gifu City
were so very kind and generous to us and we cannot thank them
enough. The city is beautiful; our visit to Gifu Castle was perfect;
our boat trip and the witnessing of the Cormorant Fishing was
spectactular. Thank you, American Baseball and National Baseball
Associations for a trip of a lifetime.

I just returned a few days ago from the WCBF 2002 event in Wakayama.
It was the most fun I've had for a long time. It truly is a great
experience working with kids form all over the world. They are
so much fun and carry the hope of the future. Thank you for all

hello, I am a dutch girl. In 1997 I was with wcbf in nagasaki.
It was so great, i dream about the good times. Now I am 16 and
I grow up and thanks wcbf I now a lot of japan. I wish all the
children they are going to japan a lot of pleasure. i hope i hear

I attended the W.C.B.F. in 1994. It was in Miyazaki, Japan. I
had the opportunity to meet baseball legends like Joe DiMaggio.
I had fun with kids from all over world and had the chance to
meet so many people from different places all at once. Going to
W.C.B.F. will always be a memorable moment in my childhood and
I hope more and more kids can experience it for themselves the
way I was able to.

My child attended the baseball fair in July 1994. He had a great
time, met many new friends, experienced a new culture. I was not
sure about sending him so far from home, but all of the people
associated with WCBF are great and really take good care of the
kids.
